Werkadoo Co-Hosts Houston @ SXSW

Werkadoo is helping plan Houston @ SXSW, a fantastic event being held in Austin on Monday, March 15th from 7pm-2am. The goal of the event is to showcase Houston Startups, Bands, Organizations, and everything else that’s great about Houston. Here’s an exerpt from the eventpage:

Houston@SXSW will be held March 15, 2010, at Hudson on Fifth in Austin during SXSW. From 7pm to 2am, we will spotlight and support Houston Filmmakers, Interactive and Tech Startups, and Music Talent:

* 7:00pm – 8:30pm : Houston Interactive & Tech Presentations & Exhibits
* 8:30pm – 9:00pm : Houston Film Showcase (Curated by Houston Film Commission & South West Alternate Media Project (SWAMP))
* 9:00pm – 2:00am : Houston Music Showcase (Curated by Houston Music Writers & Fans)

Join us in supporting Houston’s creative and innovative community! We seek Sponsors to help defray costs and ensure that the event can remain free for anyone and everyone who wants to stop by and support Houston@SXSW. To ensure Sponsors and participants get maximum exposure, the event will be open to all (no badge necessary!); and we will execute a full marketing and social media campaign to build awareness, buzz and attendance.
